SCANI General Assembly Announces New Executive Committee
Belfast — The General Assembly of the Sudanese Community Association Northern Ireland (SCANI) has officially announced the formation of its new Executive Committee, following the committee’s first meeting held on Saturday 6 June 2026.
The New Executive Committee

- Secretary-General: Muhab Ahmed Mohamed
- Assistant Secretary-General: Abubakr Eldaw
- Financial Secretary: Nasreldin Abdelnabi
- Social & Internal Relations Office: Alaaeldin Mohamed Fadl
- Culture, Women & Child Office: Hala Saeed
- Academic Office: Hussam Ahmed
- Youth & Sports Office: Hassan Abdelhamid, Abubakr Musa Mohamed
- External Relations Office: Areej Osman Eltayeb
- Members: Amir Elamin, Awadelkarim Elfaki, Essameldin Elobeid
A Commitment to Participation and Progress
The new Executive Committee has affirmed its commitment to strengthening community participation and raising the standard of the association’s work. The leadership also announced plans to establish supporting and advisory committees, drawing on experienced members of the community to back upcoming initiatives — with the aim of delivering even more for the Sudanese community in Northern Ireland.
