Sudanese Community School in Belfast Reopens After Six-Year Closure
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, the Sudanese Community School in Belfast officially reopened, marking an important milestone for the Sudanese Community Association in Northern Ireland (SCANI) and one of its key community projects.The school’s reopening comes after a six-year period of closure and represents an important step in the community’s efforts to restore and develop educational and cultural programmes for Sudanese children and families in Northern Ireland.The opening ceremony was attended by parents and guardians, students, teachers, the school management team, and members of the SCANI Executive Committee.
